It has been established to coordinate and integrate national initiatives within the proteomics field. The main objectives are to strengthen and promote fundamental research and applications, as well as education and training in all areas of proteomics throughout Europe. Call for Nominations for the EuPA Senior Scientist 2010 Award in Proteomic Sciences |

The European Proteomics Association invites nominations for the EuPA Senior Scientist 2010 Award in Proteomics. This annual Award is intended to acknowledge achievements in the field of proteomics in Europe. The Award will consist of a diploma and an honorarium of €5000. The winner will be announced at the EuPA meeting, where he/she will give a lecture. The registration fee will be waived. A biographical sketch of the winner will be published in the Journal of Proteomics and in other Proteomics Journals and will be posted on the EuPA website. Deadline for nominations is May 15, 2010. 4th Central and Eastern European Proteomic Conference - Aug 29-Sep 1, 2010 - Vienna (Austria) |

The 4th Central and Eastern European Proteomic Conference will be held in Vienna (Austria) next Aug 29-Sep 1, 2010. The conference will host the 8th AuPA (Austrian Proteomic Association) Proteome Research Symposium, 6th Czech Proteomic Conference and 4th Annual Meeting of the Hungarian Proteomic Society – the conference is jointly organized within the CEEPC framework. The conference is taking place back-to-back with the symposium of International Metabolomics Austria (IMA) from 2nd – 3rd September 2010 at the same location supporting the future interaction between both fields. Furthermore both symposia are promoted by the Austrian Society of Analytical Chemistry (ASAC). The two symposia cover all aspects of proteomics, glycomics, lipidomics and metabolomics: applications, instrumentation, bioinformatics, fundamentals and strategies. Click here for more information |
