The conference will be held in Luxembourg between the 18th and the 20th of October 2010, in the d’Coque conference centre in Luxembourg city. The title of the proposed conference “Proteomics in Plants, Microorganisms and Environment” reflects the broad spectrum of studies wherein proteomics-based experiments are used. Since these topics also include medical microbiology and the influence of the environment on the well being of organisms a wide range of topics can be presented. Nonetheless, problems such as sample preparation, low-abundant proteins, posttranslational modifications, resolution, reproducibility, statistical analysis and the elucidation of biological significance are shared among all researchers involved.
